At SLA, we believe dance should feel like home. Our studio is a welcoming, supportive space where every student - regardless of age, background or ability feels comfortable, encouraged and valued. We pride ourselves on creating a family atmosphere - where dancers grow not only in skill but also in confidence and self-belief.

 

Founded by a professional dancer with extensive industry experience, SLA Dance is led by someone who is technically trained in various styles, performed for celebrities on major stages, appeared in music videos and has taught around the UK to all ages and abilities - bringing real insight into the dance industry.

 

SLA Dance specialises in Commercial and Hip-Hop styles - with a focus on building confidence, performance skills and individuality. Every Saturday, weekly training is structured around different goals each term - allowing dancers to develop technique, explore styles and grow at their own pace. As well as Commercial students will get to learn various styles such as Jazz, Contemporary and more. IDTA ballet training will also be introduced in the future to support strong technical foundations.
